Who is Tanvir Ahmed?
Tanvir Ahmed is a video editor based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the founder of Ahmed Digital. For five years he has edited reels, ads, VSLs and brand films for businesses and creators in the US, Australia, Canada, the UK and Europe, including Hyatt Centric, Stan Sport and Hapag-Lloyd.
What kind of videos do you edit?
Short-form reels and TikToks, video ads, VSLs, YouTube videos, talking-head content, brand films and event recaps. If it's footage that needs to become a video people watch to the end, I can edit it.
Which industries do you work with?
Mostly dental clinics, home services, gyms and fitness, sports, restaurants and hospitality, tech and app companies, and corporate brands. Each industry has its own style of video, so I edit for the viewers you're trying to reach.
I'm in the US or Australia. Does working with an editor in Bangladesh work?
Yes. Most of my clients are in the US and Australia. Everything happens online, by email, chat or a quick call, and the time difference often helps: you send footage at the end of your day and wake up to progress.
How much does video editing cost?
It depends on the length of the video, the amount of footage and how much motion graphics or captioning it needs. Send me a short brief and I'll reply with a clear quote before any work starts.
How long does an edit take?
It depends on the length and complexity of the project. You get a delivery date before I start, so you always know when your video will be ready.
How do revisions work?
Revisions are part of every project. You watch the first cut, leave timestamped notes, and I make the changes. We agree on the number of revision rounds in the brief, before work begins.
How do I send you my footage?
Share a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link with your raw clips, logo, fonts and any videos you like the style of. I sort everything before the edit starts.
What formats will I get?
Final files ready to post on each platform: 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds. One edit can be delivered in all of them.
What software do you use?
Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and After Effects for motion graphics, with AI tools to speed up the slow parts like transcripts and rough sorting. Every creative decision is still made by me.
